Administration & Monitoring of Local Infiltration Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Analgesia

Didactic (Online) Component: Nitrous Oxide Analgesia and Local Infiltration Anesthesia: March 10, 2025 - May 16, 2025
Clinical and Laboratory Component: (delivered on campus) May 30, 31 & June 1, 2025 (see registration confirmation for your clinical dates & times), at Monroe Community College, 1000 East Henrietta Road, Dental Clinic - Bldg. 7-201, Rochester NY 14623.

Course Requirements 

  • You must have and provide a copy of a current CPR certification and NYS dental hygiene license to participate in this class.
  • You must complete all scheduled assignments of the didactice (online) component as posted by your instructor.
  • You must attend all 15 hours of clinical instruction. You will be required to adminster and receive nitrious oxide analgesia and local infiltration anesthesia. If you have a medical condition that might prevent this, please contact your doctor for clearance before registering for the course. 

Registration

  • After registration is complete, MCC Economic and Workforce Development Center will send you a confirmation e-mail with textbook requirements and logistical information. 
  • You will receive 2 separate emails prior to the course starts date with information on how to access your MCC network account and online course. If you do not receive this by February 28, 2025, please contact our office at 585-685-6400.

Refund Policy

Cancellation requests must be sent via e-mail to corporatecollege@monroecc.edu at least 5 business days prior to the scheduled start date of your class at MCC. Please include your name, daytime phone number, order number, course name and dates. Refunds may take up to 3 weeks to process. Incomplete requests cannot be processed for cancellation.
