Course Requirements
You must be a NYS registered dental hygienist to take this course. This course satisfies the state educational requirements for certification in the administration and monitoring of local infiltration anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia for dental hygienists. This course consists of 30 hours of online instruction (didactic component) in nitrous oxide analgesia and local infiltration anesthesia, and an additional 15 hours of class time, on campus, devoted to the clinical and laboratory studies. The course curriculum is based on amendments to Regulation 52.9 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education. (45 contact hours)
In order to participate in this course, you will be required to provide a copy of your current CPR certification and NYS dental hygiene license.

Refund Policy

Please include your name, daytime phone number, order number, course name and dates. Refunds may take up to 3 weeks to process. Incomplete requests cannot be processed for cancellation.
