Negotiation generally involves a five-step process: analysis, preparation, communication, proposal and commitment. Each step requires specific skills and behaviors. Learn how to recognize your strengths and weaknesses in how you typically negotiate and develop strategies to increase your negotiating effectiveness. Understand the various types, behaviors, principles and barriers in the negotiation process. Improved negotiating skill is learned and not natural. Step up your capabilities to negotiate the best outcome in all aspects of work and home life.
