Active Shooter Awareness

This awareness course is intended to provide participants with a basic understanding of an active shooter crisis. This course will discuss ways to prepare and respond to active shooter situations, and will assist in the response to and law enforecement expectations of an active shooter. The participant will learn ways to recognize dangerous behavior, and how to plan and develop an emergency plan.
