Business Analyst/Project Manager

Successful projects begin with a detailed analysis of business requirements. As organizations strive to improve business performance, business analysists play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of cost-effective products. Discover how to increase your effectiveness in identifying, analyzing and designing processes to improve the flow of information across any business. Learn how a business analyst communicates requirements from customers, managers, users and subject-matter experts to technical deployment teams to ensure that optimized solutions can be designed and implemented. Courses taken will help prepare students for Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA®) through the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®).

Project management is a crosscutting profession that is practiced in many different environments. Companies all over the world are recognizing the value that effective project management can provide their corporate performance. The establishment of career paths for professionals engaged in projects has recognized this growing importance. Students will prepare for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAMP®) through the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Students will also be exposed to presentation skills training and the ability to apply their skills through a two week internship.
