Survival Skills for Business

Job readiness skills often learned once in the workplace rather than in preparation for employment. Today’s soft skills gap includes lacking competencies in communication, writing, presentations, e-mail etiquette, and cooperative teamwork or project management skills.

This highly interactive four-part workshop delivers soft skill concepts and practice for success in the workplace. Effective listening skills, writing and presentation skills development are shared. How to communicate with peers and leaders, how to manage common conflict, how to manage time are highlighted during the sessions.

Today’s worker must relate to team members, fit into the workplace culture, and show up with capabilities to communicate with purpose and interact for greatest success. Join this workshop to prepare to shine in a new job or sharpen tools for the new work environment.
