Potential students in the Basic Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Training Program Workshop and Home Health Aide Program must attend this one-hour informational session.  Selected students also must complete a health form.
 

CNA Training and Development and Home Health Aide (HHA) classes are on going.  All individuals must first register for this Basic Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Training Program Workshop to learn more about the CNA and HHA program details, class expectations, dates and times. 

Certified Nurse Assistant 
This basic training program is designed as boot camp style training. The curriculum covers professional skills, mandated nurse assistant content, and practical skill development. Through lectures, group activities, exams, hands-on demonstrations, and clinical experience, students will demonstrate the competencies required to qualify to sit for the New York State exam.

Home Health Aide
Start your healthcare career working with individuals who need assistance with daily tasks by providing help with personal care, nutrition, and tasks in-home or at an assisted living facility. This program is designed for entry-level healthcare professionals, indviduals who face employment barriers and those looking to advance their careers.
