Start your healthcare career working with individuals who need assistance with daily tasks. By providing help with personal care, nutrition, and tasks in their homes, or at an assisted living facility. This program is designed for entry-level health care professionals, individuals who face employment barriers, and those looking to advance their career.
Program Details
2 1/2 weeks of classroom, lab, and clinical work. Hours vary.
Required Enrollment Criteria
- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of interview and information session
- Desire to work in health care
CNA Training and Development and Home Health Aide (HHA) classes are on going. All individuals must first register for this Basic Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Training Program Workshop to learn more about the CNA and HHA program details, class expectations, dates and times.
Potential students in the Basic Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Training Program Workshop and Home Health Aide Program must attend this one-hour informational session. Selected students also must complete a health form.
